Summary: Unprofessional, Impractical. Not worth it at all.
I applied for a role in Germany (or the EU).
Pros: None seen as of now, other than maybe possibilities of remote work.
Interview (45 minutes):
I answered all of them correctly, except maybe one algorithm-based question. They did not even tell me if the interviewer was a recruiter or from the technical team, as responses to technical questions vary according to the expertise of the interviewer. The interviewer was reading and then marking notes/flags specifically when these tech questions were being answered, in such a fashion that it seemed he was given sample answers to those questions.
After rescheduling twice and at least involving 10 days just between the first call(s), I got an email the next day that they are not proceeding (of course, like many other companies which do not state the reasons which otherwise could help candidates).
