I had a phone call with a recruiter where they asked basic Java questions such as:

• Why do we need to override hashCode and equals?
• Describe multithreading.

This went pretty smoothly. Soon after, I received an email advising that my first interview was scheduled.

I chose a time that I was available and then attended the interview. I failed the interview, mostly due to poor equipment (microphone, speakers, etc.), which hindered my ability to communicate effectively with the interviewer.
