Process

The interview process involved several stages:

  • An in-person exploratory chat
  • A 4-6 hour take-home Java coding project
  • A technical phone screen
  • Two in-person 90-minute interviews

Recruiters were extremely professional and down-to-earth, and were open with both constructive feedback and blandishments. Interviewers were professional, friendly, and spoke candidly about their hopes and concerns for Canva going forward.
