Pros: I get to work with some of the best engineers I could hope for in my industry. The quality of work is rather high, and it keeps me feeling comfortably challenged.

Cons: There are honestly none that I wouldn’t reasonably expect to find elsewhere (in Australia, at least). For the first time in my life, I have a job that isn’t a depressing drudge.

Pros: High expectations on skills, but no pressure at all. No deadlines and time to make things the right way. Newest technologies and strong emphasis on quality. Super smart and mostly young people everywhere. Lots of perks like daily fresh lunch, team events, and gym membership. Very nice, big, open, and modern offices in the heart of Sydney (or Manila), with things like height-adjustable desks and showers. The founders are around 30 and super easygoing. There is a big commitment to making the world a better place, and you see that everywhere: free stuff for charities, support for social and equality groups, and eco-friendly boxes for dinner, just to name a few. The salary is above average for IT. The company is growing rapidly. The product is very popular.

Cons: I'm feeling like this is a dream and I might wake up any moment.

Pros: Good company to work at. They look after you. Good perks.

Cons: Work can be slow and take a long time to be reviewed.
