Canva has a creative and supportive work environment with talented engineers and strong product teams. I had opportunities to work on meaningful features, learn from experienced colleagues, and improve my technical and communication skills. The company also provides good tools, clear documentation, and flexible remote collaboration.
Some projects move very quickly, and priorities can change with limited notice. Meetings and approval processes can also take more time than expected, especially when several teams are involved.
Keep communication clear when priorities change, reduce unnecessary meetings, and give engineering teams more time for planning, testing, and technical improvements.
