Process

I received an interview call letter from HR and went for the interview. Before the interview even began, the interviewer's demeanor was unapproachable. I don't know what round it was, but a lengthy discussion about skills took place. Afterward, I was told HR would update me.

A week later, I received an email from HR stating that my profile was being processed for an opening but was not shortlisted. They mentioned an opening in a different business unit. A week after that, I received another interview call letter and was asked to attend again.

I informed HR that the interviewer should be the one shortlisting the profile. HR promised this wouldn't happen again. When I arrived, before my interview, a different HR person asked me in a shouting tone, "How many times do you want to give an interview?" I explained that the previous HR knew I had come, but she insisted I visit again based on the email and call.

I was asked to attend a telephonic round again. The interviewer began asking questions about my skillset, and I answered them all correctly. Then, they started asking questions outside my skillset and said, "I will update you." Afterward, HR told me I could go.

The hiring process seems fake, and there appears to be no actual vacancy. The interviewers seem to learn from the candidates, keeping themselves updated, and sometimes even asking for customer details about where the project is located.

The interviewer panel has never managed a single migration project and has no knowledge beyond operations. They are from operations and lack the capability to judge high-level candidates. The technical team will never select a candidate who has better skills than them.
