A recruiter contacted me and arranged for a round one technical interview. The interviewer was pleasant and asked me a list of questions related to Gen AI to get a sense of my expertise.
The interviewer mentioned that I would be moving on to the second round of interviews. However, it has been a few weeks, and I have not heard back at all.

Pros: Flexible hours, if the client permits.
Cons: No matter how much hard work you put in, it will all go to waste.
Politics: If there is a failure, all fingers will point at the tactless person — you.
They always try to cut costs, so they promote candidates from lower grades.
Sometimes, you may have to work with naive kids (immature and inexperienced) due to cost-cutting. You should be prepared to take all the blame from the client.

Pros: NA - you get to stay here forever without any pay increase.
Cons: 1. Performance reviews are useless. There has been no pay increase for 3 years despite receiving good reviews from clients.
2. There is no AWS, bonus, or overtime pay, nothing.
3. Management is horrible, and everything is outsourced. My manager was not even based in Singapore. They just throw fresh graduates at clients without any training.
