I had the worst experience with Capgemini. I applied through the VLS Consulting agency.

Firstly, the process involved an online assessment test, followed by a telephonic technical discussion at the Capgemini office. After that, HR would ask you to share documents for background verification so that they could release an offer.

However, even after one month, I haven't received any update. When I informed them that I had another offer and asked if they could provide their offer so I could decide from the options I had, HR replied that due to high CTC expectations, the business had denied approving a CTC beyond a certain amount. This amount was lesser than my current package.

I was surprised by this reply because I had already mentioned my expected CTC on the very first day to the consultant agency.

All questions were basic: Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate (caching). They focused on the basic concepts.
