Beware of offers not being given too. Keep expectations light!

• The HR point of contact was from India, and they orchestrated the interview and feedback.
• Last week of January, Capgemini conducted a 2-hour technical interview. One interviewer was the hiring manager, and the other was a technical expert. The first 20-25 minutes involved an overview of the business unit, followed by a completely technical interview.
• Questions covered architecture, core Java, Spring Boot, Azure, and database concepts. While not my best performance, I managed to answer almost all questions effectively and completed all four coding tasks.
• I was confident the results would be positive. The HR from India called within 4-5 days and confirmed my selection.
• Within the next two days, I was asked for mobility-related documents, which I submitted promptly, assuming the next step would be offer release.

The real deception started here. Ever since February 2024, the process moved at a snail's pace. I had weekly reminders with the Indian HR to understand the application status. Each time, I received a stereotyped answer: they were waiting to hear back on next steps from the hiring manager. At one point, the HR even mentioned the hiring manager was sick.

A couple of days ago, the HR called and asked if I was still available in the job market, and I confirmed I was. To my surprise, the hiring manager called me directly today and said they could not offer me the job. Their reasons made no sense, which clearly indicates that Capgemini is no longer a safe place. They seem to be losing projects due to their peculiar employee policies, I suspect.

Poland candidates: Please be aware if there is a constant delay in releasing offers from Capgemini, even after positive feedback. This likely means they do not want you there.
