Pros: It’s all good until you’re placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Cons: If you are placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), it’s important to understand that it may be used as a step toward termination rather than genuine improvement.
In many cases, completing the PIP successfully may not change the outcome. Instead of focusing all your efforts on the PIP, consider exploring new opportunities and preparing for the next step in your career.
