It's still an outsourcing company. You can work, they can pay you money, and you can have access to learning platforms.
The salary they offer is probably the lowest possible on the market.
Hardware is the cheapest trash, barely making work possible. Imagine getting a wired mouse on onboarding in 2024.
The list of software you can use on a company laptop is tightly limited, and you need approvals to install anything. Software sometimes gets deleted without any notification, or you could get all your configs reset. Support never helps with this, just forwarding you with "Ask your colleagues."
Several times I was unable to connect to the client environment due to various limitations introduced without notice. It required orchestrating the client, project manager, and support agent to get very simple things working as they should have worked before.
Communication with management and HR is terrible; it is usually a demanding, commanding tone. Be ready to feel distrust and control of all your actions. Even the PM on my project micromanaged all my actions, regardless of a brilliant relationship with the client and exceptional work results.
With the company, we agreed on a 30% hybrid work mode. Just in 6 months of my work, I was informed I have to do 40% now, and if I don't comply, it's been told it will affect my variable bonus. No exceptions.
Speaking of variable bonus pay, it was cut to 80% for me, even though I was marked as "Succeeding."
Be very careful with the contract, as in my case, it required a much bigger notice period than is recommended by law in Poland.
Overall, it draws a picture of a place where everyone not fit for a better job gets.
I wouldn't recommend working here for anyone caring for their career.
It was a good experience overall. The interviewer joined at the stated time and asked basic DevOps questions. Questions from containerization, Docker, AWS, and pipelines were asked. I was happy with the experience.
It was a moderate to hard interview, primarily based on your skills and experience, plus some in-depth questions on Kubernetes. I suggest building your resume according to your skills. This position was for pan-India.
First, an HR call, then an HR interview, then a call with the manager and an HR and manager interview. After that, we are asked about benefits. Everything is done on a platform and via Teams; it's easy.
