Pros
  • Some remote learning events available.
  • Leadership training sessions available.
  • Access to Udemy, etc. for continued learning.
Cons
  • Archaic systems and processes.
  • Suboptimal response times from IT to get past bureaucratic blockers.
  • My department was acquired but given less than a year before layoffs started affecting the team. We were not given a chance to fully integrate to the company before the hammer dropped.
  • RIFs did not consult departmental leads; they were not merit-based.
  • Overall, it felt like management treats employees like they are disposable.
  • The admins did not bother updating actual relevant job titles to the locked Teams profiles. Designers, creative directors, QA, etc., in our department were all labeled as "Senior Software Developers" in their Teams profiles for the 1+ years we were here, although this is inaccurate.
