Pros
  1. Good for persons who are not looking out to explore.
  2. Good for lazy people.
  3. Good work culture.
  4. Chilled environment, less workload, especially Pune location.
Cons
  1. HR and RMG teams are the worst; they work like government officials.
  2. Employees can be thrown away to any department irrespective of their domain and interests, especially freshers.
  3. A fellow colleague tried to get into JAVA practice from testing practice, and RMG and the learning partner were about to terminate for this.
  4. There are very few projects in Pune location and very few opportunities for exploring technologies.
  5. It is not good for freshers; there is nothing to learn apart from procedures followed.
  6. Salary hikes are mostly below market standards, 2% to 7%.
  7. There is a lot of politics in the projects.
  8. The company is very cheap in terms of facilities.
  9. Freshers, don't even think about joining in Pune location; your career will come to a standstill.
Advice to Management

Capgemini logo: "People Matters, Result Counts." They should change it to: "People do not matter, only results count."

Capgemini seriously needs to check how their employees are treated. They should check they are provided proper payscales and hikes (2% for a year after working for around 10 hours daily is not fair at all).
