Discussing with colleagues who have moved on to other IT companies, I feel confident that Capgemini is an exceptional employer, at least still in 2023. I am not surprised at the collection of awards the company collects.
I have worked for Capgemini for many years and I have always appreciated our company mindset, which is about doing the right things based on company values (honesty, ...).
Pay is performance and market rate driven (this could be seen as a drawback). The company actively encourages development and fosters a growth mindset, which is great for all ages but a boost and exceptionally good when in the earlier part of your career.
The company values its employees highly.
Some of the company's customers restrict the application of the freedom the company offers. For example, some roles could have reduced work from home, etc.
Some role rotation requests can take time to be enacted due to high customer considerations.
