HR is the worst. During my bench period, I was offered to be assigned to a project but I had to refuse due to location reasons. HR gathered us in a meeting and forced us to say yes. When we refused, they threatened us by saying that they'll escalate it and ensure a black mark on our profile. Don't you dare do this to your employees ever again.
Their values are a facade. One of Capgemini's core values (which they shove down our throat) is Freedom, but they won't let us discuss our salaries during an HR Q&A call.
Capgemini cares about their clients, not their employees. It is worse to a point where clients matter more than their employee's mental health. The worst point is that they implement this in their training programs. Their trainers will downright mention that your mental health is not that important.
Career opportunities at Capgemini is a joke. For freshers, Capgemini forces you to learn a technology you don't like, resulting in destroying your future. For example, you're into cloud development and have mentioned that you've worked with projects related to cloud computing. They'll listen to you and assign you to a mainframe project. They don't even give you an option on what technology you want to pick. These companies exploit innocent college graduates for their greed and to support their projects.
