The people in this company are great - really nice to work with.
The pay is awful for software engineers. £1k annual payrises (no bonuses, no stocks, nothing) that doesn't even cover inflation.
I left with a £35k salary after 4 years experience. What's funny is, during job hunting, tech companies were offering me £60k-£75k base, and I was able to negotiate £80k base (this is for a non-FAANG and non-fintech company too).
If you are a software engineer at Capgemini, you should really compare your salary to market rate.
