Applied through their website, initial contact from a recruiter came several days later. He had some general questions and scheduled a phone screen with the hiring manager.

That conversation went well, and they invited me for an on-site, all-day interview. Apparently, they have "super-interview-days," so you need to plan ahead.

In the meantime, they sent me a link to an online test to take. It consisted of several Java coding problems, which I thought was odd, based on the job description. Nevertheless, according to the recruiter, I passed that one.

The on-site interview consisted of five 45-minute sessions:

• Two behavioral sessions: a series of "tell me about a time you..." questions.
• Two job-fit sessions: just a chat with the interviewer.
• One test case: a pretty simple business case with a break-even point calculation.
