I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, and the initial call was pleasant.
I completed a CodeSignal assessment, finishing 2 out of 4 questions. Despite this, I was invited to a second "power day" interview.
The power day itself was odd. It consisted of four interviews:
The interviewers for the behavioral and system design sessions were quite poor. They frequently interrupted me, making it difficult to answer questions fully. The behavioral interviewer was particularly bizarre; when I provided minor contextual information unrelated to the question, they interrupted to demand a more detailed explanation. Similarly, during the system design interview, the interviewer wouldn't allow me to speak. It felt as though they wanted to conduct the interview themselves.
Frankly, it was one of the worst interview experiences I've had. After that, I declined the opportunity, as I felt I would be pulling my hair out working with those individuals.
System design, code, case study, behavioral
