Coding challenge:

  • Got the first two questions entirely correct.
  • Skipped the third.
  • Got the fourth question correct, but it wasn't efficient enough for full credit.
  • Ended with a 740 score.

Power Day:

  • Very easy coding questions for the explicit coding interview.
  • System design interview was very abstract, a little different than I was expecting, but I do not think this was my downfall.
  • Behavioral interview was fairly standard. I'd recommend trying to use the whiteboard to explain concepts more easily for work done in the past.
  • Case interview was not what I expected at all. This is really more of an additional coding evaluation in disguise. The case they give you is very straightforward with a predictable outcome. However, the code you look at afterwards has some errors. I did not fix the errors in time, so I believe this hurt my chances a lot. The errors in the code were logical, not syntax-related, like doing multiplication on negative numbers when that shouldn't be allowed logically due to the scenario.

I ultimately got downgraded to level 2. The salary discussed did not make sense for my situation. However, after attempting to reach out for further details to my recruiter, I did not get a response.
