I applied for a frontend position online and was contacted by a recruiter within two days for a phone screen.
The process included a 70-minute online assessment (CodeSignal) with four questions: two easy, one medium, and one hard. It involved simple array navigation, a 2D array/nested loop problem, and an undirected weighted graph question that I couldn't solve. It seems like you only need to get 50% to pass.
"Power Day" consisted of four back-to-back interviews via Zoom.
The first technical interview involved an easy CodeSignal prompt on forms using my JavaScript framework of choice. We also discussed JavaScript syntax and performance.
The second technical interview was a frontend design prompt to build a Single Page Application (SPA). Questions covered component structure, routing, data flow, Redux, API calls, and more in-depth knowledge of frontend frameworks.
The behavioral interview was fairly straightforward, using STAR method questions. The interviewer didn't seem to like my answers and pushed back on most of them. It felt as though they were trying to elicit more information for feedback.
The case interview walked through a business case for cost calculation. First, we discussed requirements and considerations. Second, we went through example calculations and a formula. Finally, I had to identify and fix an algorithm in a faulty code sample, discussing the process without formal testing.
Most interviewers were friendly and spoke positively about the company.
I was initially rejected for the original position but was contacted a week after my interviews to meet with a hiring manager for a different team.

CodeSignal hard - Variation on k-diff pairs (LeetCode 532)

Given a base Angular component, implement a form to add messages to a list (e.g., form control data flow).
Given requirements, how would you structure and build a SPA?
Case about a math optimization problem. Example calculations, algorithm, fix bug in sample code. Mostly problem-solving / talking through your thought process.
