Software Engineer Interview Experience - McLean, Virginia

Process

Applied online and was contacted by a campus recruiter.

I was set up with a day of interviews, including one of each:

  • Behavioral
  • Technical
  • Case

The behavioral questions were very standard teamwork questions.

The technical interview included topics like how to implement a messaging system and how to reverse a linked list. The technical interview was conducted on paper, and I could choose which language to write in. Syntax did not have to be perfect; they mainly cared about my thought process and algorithm.

The case interview was mostly dealing with numbers and determining if a product was producing revenue.

I received a callback within a week.
