Pros: Decent pay for the area. Good amount of free stuff and cheap amenities. Have some stability, but that's quickly changing due to leadership decisions.

Cons: * Too many directional changes that straight up make it impossible to "perform" unless you can somehow become buddy buddy with leadership. * Buzzwords abound with tons of random changes. * Too much process-related tasks (which don't get any attention at performance management cycles even if they can take days) are thrown on the developers, which slows down productivity. * Too many bloated internal platforms and tooling due to everyone "wanting to make an effort to influence."

Pros: A lot of non-technical work. Office politics is heavy here, and backstabbing to get ahead is a real thing. If you're a sociopath or a manipulator, you'd do great here.

Cons: The bureaucracy and leadership team don't listen to employee feedback. There's tons of hypocrisy around. Arbitrary OKRs and KPIs are used to make the leadership team look better, with high quotas for PIP/forced arbitration biannually.

Pros: Good learning opportunities, e.g., cloud technologies and architecture skills. Good benefits. Decent work-life balance. Work with some bright people.

Cons: Stack ranking at its absolute worst. The performance system is tweaked ad hoc (grading criteria, rate cutoff dates, consequences of landing below, bell curve percentages, etc.), even retroactively, to cut people instead of publicly announcing layoffs. This has fostered a toxic environment where associates fight over the pieces that subjectively matter the most during calibration time, instead of focusing on proper development practices. This is a very stressful environment to work at, and I can't, in good faith, recommend it for the sake of the employee's mental health and job stability.
