The interview process involved a recruiter screen, followed by a CodeSignal assessment, and then a "Power Day" (four interviews in one day).
I found the CodeSignal assessment for Capital One to be quite challenging. Despite diligently preparing by brushing up on DSA and completing 120 LeetCode questions in the two weeks leading up to the test, the difficulty level was intense. It was potentially the most difficult coding interview I've encountered so far in my career and certainly overkill for the position they were hiring for.
The test consisted of what I would categorize as two medium-difficulty and two hard-difficulty LeetCode questions. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to advance past this stage to the 'Power Day' interviews.
For those preparing for this process, I would recommend extensive preparation, particularly focusing on complex problem-solving skills. If possible, try to pass the CodeSignal interview at a big tech company with a better compensation package.
I had to agree not to disclose interview questions.
