Pay is reasonable. 401k match is decent. Management has generally been not overbearing, easy to work for and with. Decent corporate culture.
The tuition reimbursement plan is pretty poor; seriously, Taco Bell pays up front and more per calendar year. Taco Bell.
Management plays musical chairs every year, leaving employees without a lot of direction until new management establishes goals and plans.
It is very evident that they take much advantage of the H1B Visa program to hire and underpay many foreign workers.
The performance review process is poor, making managers fight for why their employee is better. When added with musical management, I've had years where I've been reviewed by a manager I had for only two months of the previous year, or have been reviewed by a manager who is no longer my manager. Why would he fight for me?
Benefits aren't anything special.
Raises are tiny when you are anywhere near the salary cap for your position. The salary cap isn't floated with the cost of living.
Social events (e.g., employee appreciation parties) are pretty poor. Related perks (e.g., they sponsor lots of stadiums) are pretty non-existent.
There are not lots of opportunities for promotion within.
Stop trying to convince your employees that it is a great place to work, and actually make it a great place to work.
Improve benefits, encourage promotion within, give employees more time off, and stop cycling management so often.
