Pros

Some nice and talented people to work with.

Cons

I was lied to that the position offered was a long-term contract or contract-to-hire opportunity if I was ever interested. I accepted this offer over a couple of others since those factors interested me. Only when I joined did they mention I could not be hired since I'm on a visa. But I was fine since it would be a long-term contract. Three months into the job, they gave me a four-day notice to end the contract, explaining that management considers contractors too expensive to maintain and instead wants recent college grads to do the same job. Multiple people I know were affected by this sudden U-turn. My manager and team wanted to retain me, but the senior management wouldn't budge. It is very unprofessional to make someone accept an offer with so many false promises.
