Pros

Work-Life Balance is Decent

Cons
  • Career track is stagnant; expect to stay in the same role for five years plus.
  • Tech stacks are custom, overly complicated wrappers around common AWS services.
  • All the time you invest is learning their custom tech stack, which is non-transferable outside of the company.
  • Expect to get screwed by their performance management.
  • Hard work and going above and beyond the job description is rarely rewarded.
  • Instead, what is rewarded is constant presentations to management in lieu of actual work.
  • They have suffered VERY heavy attrition due to the above reasons, so expect to take on the work of two developers.
  • Upper management is clueless and/or stubborn about performance management and is not adapting to the very obvious feedback from employees due to their leaving.
