Sometimes there can be really exciting work.
Often in-flight work will be cancelled/discontinued due to poor planning and constant pivoting from management. Individuals are then penalized in progression reviews for non-delivery completion.
In some cases, when work is cancelled, there are no other deliverables planned.
Higher-ups should take more time to talk to people further down the chain. The US should take into proper consideration the different situations that employees in the UK are facing, instead of forcing directives that are ineffectively applied.
