Capital One is a great company to work for.
No office politics and undue pressure. All the managers I had were very nice and accommodating. You can take as much ownership as you want or as little.
I have seen a few coasters who wouldn't do anything, and I would have to pick up the slack. The hiring process might be too lax, as I have seen more subpar engineers and slackers than I would have liked.
