Pros
  • If you're an intern or TDP employee, you're pampered with goodies.
  • Near the metro.
Cons
  • Too many to list. Just stay away unless you're an intern or TDP employee. Don't let the recruiters fool you.
  • The above is HIGHLY team dependent so choose wisely.
Advice to Management

Hire people who understand technology (i.e., have hands-on experience).

Don't promote people based on their popularity. Passing fake smiles and talking a lot does not equal competence.

Replace at least 50% of your engineering workforce since they are unqualified. I've been through your interview process, and it's seriously broken. I could say something like "C++ is a great tool for testing applications" and get an offer the next day for a management position. Another person might produce an equation to save millions and be hired as an associate engineer. Clearly, something doesn't add up here.

Stop hiring contractors and sponsoring visas for those who have no long-term interest. Maybe it's cheaper in the short-term, but it's hurting the culture and quality of your products. I've talked to many qualified engineers (citizen and non-citizen alike) who have stayed away due to the short-term mentality.
