Cons

The environment has changed, and some managers push beyond reason. No matter how much you do, they want more. If you are doing less than 60-70 hours per week, the manager downgrades your review to below average.

I’ve now heard from others facing the same challenges from other managers.

Advice to Management

We need to wake up to what is going on. Capital One has a great reputation as a place to work. However, I’ve heard many recent stories like that about managers pushing beyond reason.

Several times a week, I see emails from employees saying goodbye to the company. When I sent my email, I received contact from another team member who was on the fence. I tried to talk him through it, as he had no job lined up. He resigned 2 hours later.

You need to get a handle on this.
