Great salary for a bank.
Can ride the boat for a long time – some of us clocked over 8-10 years.
Great cloud infra to learn.
Existing employees are useless to management.
Non-Amazon hires are let to rot.
Data engineers are second-class citizens who have no chance of growing.
PIP culture is beyond horrendous.
If you call yourself data-driven, the least you can do is respect data teams. I spent time in software and data, and Plano data teams are mistreated so badly, like they’re untouchables. Either dismantle the data team, consolidating everything into software engineering, or give them an equal chance of growth. Don’t hire them and waste their time.
It was a good experience. Starting from the HR recruiter call, then the star power day interview. After the interview, they said they would take me for another software engineer position, but later, I did not get any response from them.
Initial recruiter call. There was an online assessment followed by a power day, which consists of 4 rounds: * Behavioral * LeetCode * System design * Code review Then team matching happens.
The interview process consists of three rounds: Technical, Behavioral, and Case. This feels like a pretty standard process. I don't want to give too much information as it might make things harder. Why is there a 30-word limit?
