Carta bets on individuals and gives multiple opportunities to grow. There are several initiatives going on in the company, and you don’t need much experience to get involved with them, as long as you have a genuine sense of curiosity and a deep desire to solve problems.
There’s a lot of politics going on. It can be difficult to get backed up if you don’t build a great relationship with leadership. Certain areas of the company move slowly because of regulations they need to comply with.
Try to focus more on your customer and less on your position or status. Playing politics is a dangerous move, since your decisions may be too focused on your own career versus the company's success.
