- Initial call with recruiter
- Call with Engineering Manager to chat about past experience
- Interview with 2 engineers for coding
- Final interview (3 rounds):
- First round: 1-hour live coding (Python and SQL)
- Second round: 1-hour system design (This felt strange, as the interviewer seemed unsure and was asking questions. The system design resembled a SQL design, which didn't make sense.)
- Third round: 1-hour behavioral questions
I received an offer in the end, but they mentioned they could not provide the level I applied for. They needed to check what salary they could offer and would get back to me. Subsequently, I never heard back from the company. I did not follow up, as I felt it was a very average opportunity.

Pros: Checkout.com has a great, enthusiastic team and a good vision for the company. I had the opportunity to chat with the CEO of Checkout.com, and he shared the company's vision with me.
Checkout.com was a challenging place to work for me. There were a lot of things going on every day, and for me, a challenging environment is where you can have significant professional development.
Overall, it's a great place to work.
Cons: There are a lot of chocolates in the kitchen. So, if you eat a lot of this, you might get diabetes :)
