Pros: Team structure, open community. They really want you to get something out of your internship. The people I worked with were amazing.

Cons: They are going through some growing pains, but are working it out. The intern program is super structured, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how self-driven you are.

Pros: Good work-life balance, good salary.

Pros: Good employee perks: free food, gym, speaker series, cultural events, fitness classes, unlimited time off. Work environment is fairly flexible: flexible hours, WFH. Follow standard engineering practices: continuous integration, code reviews, integration tests. Great CEO.

Cons: Employees are mostly treated as a headcount. It does not matter what their views, opinions, or goals are. There is not a lot of feedback from the bottom up. Managerial level is a big, big, big letdown. It is very common to see friends of senior leaders or people with some influence get promoted. It does not matter if the person has the necessary skills or background to get the job done. This leads to a lot of frustration. Forget about pay raises or bonuses. Education is a tough industry to be in. The tanking stock price says it all.
