Cons: Some of the tech is a generation old, but they want to change that and are expected to be part of the change. Someone has to answer the call when these systems fail.

Cons: You cannot get promoted or get raises outside of annual reviews, regardless of how much extra you produce. If you can make a break for better opportunity, don't wait, take it. The corporate structure is very layered and rigid. Getting things done requires all sorts of performative paperwork, buy-in, and approvals. I was tricked into signing up without being told of mandatory on-call, which was every other week initially. You must be available at night or on weekends and on your laptop within 30 minutes, or else... You are locked into whatever you negotiated initially without an opportunity to excel and get promoted or a raise.
