Prepare to be treated like a child, asked to work to meet crazy deadlines (that are set ignoring team estimates), and Sr. leadership who stabs you in the back.
It’s a shame that employee engagement surveys are ignored (though they claim they are important) and paranoia is a company value. When you hire smart engineers, expect them to see through the double talk. You either need to be a "yes man" or you are ignored or targeted.
It's hard to give advice to a manager when I know it will be ignored anyway.
