Initially, the better work-life balance. However, the company is likely going to take away the "take care of yourself" days, which everyone loves.
Leadership is quietly pushing for attrition because they need to cut costs. They’re banking on the fact that the market isn’t doing so well, so people aren’t all leaving. They don’t want to do large layoffs because they don’t want to have bad press before going public.
They don’t really care for feedback. They value order takers. They don’t actually care for their employees unless you’re in the top 5%. At the end of the day, they think everyone is replaceable and you’re not really valued there. Their actions don’t demonstrate the values they say are important.

Listen to your employees; we’re unhappy with the direction you are all driving towards. If morale and engagement continue to decline, how are you going to survive if your employees leave after the IPO? Retention bonuses can only do so much if working there sucks.
