This was a purely virtual hiring experience. The interviews were coordinated and conducted on Cisco Webex Teams.
The first round, the coding test, had 15 MCQs and a couple of programming questions. Supported languages were C (not C++) and Java.
The shortlisted candidates appeared for the next round: a technical interview (duration: 90-100 minutes). A panel vigorously quizzed them on Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Management, and principles of C programming, followed by a very detailed discussion on the projects mentioned in their CV.
Next up was the managerial round, which lasted approximately 30-40 minutes. The interviewer asked basic questions about databases and operating systems, projects I participated in, and other behavioral questions.
The final round was a brief HR round.
There were loads of questions, including memory structure in C, networking protocols, and process management, among others.
