Lame. In front of a PC, leveling up on a broken system.
The guy presented you with a system that was broken in different ways and asked you to fix it while you were testing the Linux box and some services that didn't start, etc.
It was okay, but stupid, as those sorts of things shouldn't be measured by time in front of someone. It is just Linux and troubleshooting skills. It will take a few more minutes and some Google if necessary sometimes.
