Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California

Process

The interview process was very confusing. The recruiter kept forgetting to notify me or the interviewers of the correct times, and planning was all mixed up.

I had two identical interviews with the same questions. One of the parts or topics mentioned by the recruiter at the beginning seemed to be forgotten in the process.

Finally, I received many 'strange' questions that didn't concern any particular knowledge or experience but seemed designed solely to confuse me. For instance, I was asked repeatedly why I wanted to work for Google, but with a suspicious style of questioning, as if I were secretly unwilling to work for the company.
