No raise, even though I am CCIE certified
Engineer • Current Employee
San Jose, California, United States
August 31, 2009
Pros: Nice gym, nice health center. Work remotely (but by paying for broadband yourself).
Cons: After I passed the exam, I got a 5k bonus, but no matching, raise, or promotion to market CCIE salary.
More cons:
* No career growth, like me.
* Work even on weekends, 10 pm-1 am (meeting with engineers in India) – no life.
* Called layoffs "Limit Restructuring."
* 7-9 management layers to CEO from engineer.
* Ranking system is not transparent.
