Frontend Developer Interview Experience - United States

Process

Where do I start? It was so impersonal. I applied online and then received an email to do a test via HackerRank. 135 minutes, no less.

I took the test, pretty certain I got 6 out of 8 questions correct, but I did not get any results.

On the React portion, you had to finish off the application. It was in TypeScript; don't get me wrong, it was fun. I found it not hard, though the time cut off when I had two functions left to write, to set up a favorites state to add and remove.

I don't know if it was scored at all. Also, it's not like the recruiter who receives it knows what is going on.

Terrible and lazy way to screen people out.
