HR called for the position G10. Initially, we discussed the CTC, and HR mentioned there was no budget issue for this position.

HR scheduled four technical interviews. After completing all rounds, HR took my documents to release the offer.

After three days, HR called again, stating they are not getting BU approval for the CTC. If HR is not getting approval, I don't know why they said there was no issue before requesting it. If HR is not getting approval, they could have called to negotiate, but they did not do that.

HR messaged me, stating the BU is not giving approvals, my profile is on hold, and they are interviewing other candidates due to the CTC issue.

Note: If there is a CTC issue, why conduct the interviews?
