I applied for the interview two months ago. One day, out of the blue, I received an email stating that an interview had been scheduled with a technical lead, offering two time options. I was asked to provide my availability.
I responded by declining both times and requested a reschedule, as I had a production commitment on the same day. The timing was changed last minute to 2 PM EST.
The interviewer called me two hours prior to the scheduled time, stating that I might have been confused about the timing, despite having an email confirmation. Anyway, the interview went well, and the interviewer told me to wait for the next steps.
I am still waiting after one month. I know I am not a "snowflake" or an "Ex-Googler," but if I spend an hour on an interview, the company HR should respond with at least an acknowledgement, if not detailed feedback. This is a pathetic process. I would not apply for or entertain calls from Cisco anymore.
