The interview consisted of 3 rounds:
All of this was based completely on C, such as how the C compiler behaves during the execution of functions, on Lists and data structures, etc., for Cisco IOS Development.
#define mul(a, b) a*b
int main() { ans = mul(9, 5); return 0; }
Questions on optimization and how the compiler works – all based on C language alone.
The interview process was fine and organized well.
However, after the interview, I was made to wait for more than an hour and a half. I did not take the day off from work, and this unnecessary wait caused frustration.
When they finally let me go, while exiting the building, the security personnel stopped me and said I could only exit with a Cisco employee as an escort, as per Cisco rules. I was not provided with one nor was I told anything about this when I was asked to leave. So, I had to apologize to him and said this would not happen again, for something that was not my fault.
