Process
I received the call through a referral from my friend who works there.
There were four rounds of full technical interviews over the phone, each lasting around 30-45 minutes. All interviews were conducted back-to-back.
After being shortlisted, I was called for a face-to-face interview. This consisted of two rounds:
- One slightly technical interview.
- An HR round.
Questions
Technical questions regarding hardware design and algorithms pertaining to binary trees.

In Cisco, growth and hikes are very slow. Benefits are also less comparative to others.

Pros: Great perks and benefits, like food, outings, and flexible hours.
Awesome campus at Kadubeesanahalli with great facilities.
People are really nice and helpful.
Cons: I was not satisfied with the work assigned to me. It was not challenging.
The work is carried on at its own pace. This is not for people looking for a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Pros: Work from home is possible.
Work quality and opportunities are varying. It has been very good for me.
No. 1 company for networking. It has many teams where you can switch your role easily.
Bangalore Campus has excellent facilities, like a gym and outdoor/indoor sports.
Cons: Not ideal for freshers, as good opportunities are not given in the beginning.
Very frugal in budget. Pay hikes and bonuses are inconsistent.
The growth cycle is almost fixed and does not allow much exception for excellent performers.
Work can reduce drastically over some weeks as projects get cancelled frequently due to high-level management issues.
