Process
I was told that there would be one behavioral interview and one technical interview. However, my interviewer asked me a ton of theoretical networking questions during the behavioral interview, which I was not expecting at all. I did not receive an offer, even though I was told that I did well on the coding portion.

Pros: Free lunch and snacks.
With very, very few managers to support career growth.
Cons: No hikes in the last 15 months, and no hope of hikes and promotions for the next year. It's like no hike for almost two years.
Bad management.
Politics in higher management.
No career growth left for anyone working on set-top box technologies.

Pros: Cisco offers competitive starting salaries and great benefits. The company provides free coffee, drinks, and popcorn.
Management is very flexible with the work schedule. Most engineers get in the office between 9-10 am and work from home about once a week.
Vacation time is generous, and requests are rarely denied.
Cons: Because projects are always getting canceled, it is very hard to get a salary increase or promotion since you keep reporting to different managers.
Most companies give a 3-5% salary increase if you meet expectations, but I have been working for Cisco for over 2 years and my salary remains the same.
