A Cisco recruiter called me. She mentioned she has been trying to fill a position for the past several months and believes my LinkedIn profile is a perfect fit. I asked her to send the job description. When she did and I reviewed it, I stated it was not a perfect fit. She insisted it was a match and suggested I speak with the Tech Lead. I spoke with the Tech Lead, and he conducted a phone screen. Then, about a week later, I went for an in-person interview with four engineers, which lasted approximately four hours. Following that, another week passed, and I had another in-person interview with two more engineers and two directors. Subsequently, they made me an offer. Negotiation, reference checks, and other processes took an additional two weeks.
