I had two phone interviews.
The first was with the hiring manager, and the second was with the technical manager.
The first interview went well, but the second was terrible. I was told it would take about half an hour, but it ended up being over two hours.
I felt like I was just being read a list of words to see if I could define them. I was repeatedly asked object-oriented programming questions, even though I kept mentioning that my strength was in functional programming. I felt somewhat mocked at the end, as if no matter what I said, it would be incorrect.
Awful. 1 hour+ of questions ranging from OOD principles to Linux, C++/C, networks, and Python. I also got asked what books I read to "keep current."
