Process

I got a call from my manager and we went over my CV. They arranged for an interview through Webex.

During the interview, they asked about my current experience and touched on topics such as threads, deadlocks, data structures, CSS, and basic JavaScript questions. They also asked me to write a program for a doubly linked list and string reversal. They mentioned that I could use any language I was comfortable with.

Questions

String concatenation: How can you write better concatenation without using existing methods like .concat() etc.? Can a deadlock happen with three threads? The job description had nothing to do with these questions. The concentration was on basics of programming. I was asked to write a double linked list program. If you are comfortable with string programs and linked list concepts, it is very easy to crack.
